A: We deliver one or more empty portable storage containers to your residence for you to load. We pick up the containers and take them to our local storage center. We then ship your containers in one of our enclosed transport containers to the Door To Door storage center nearest to your new location. Your storage containers can remain at the storage center to accommodate your moving schedule, or be delivered to your new address. After you unload your containers, we pick them up. It's that simple!
Q: How do I get a moving quote?

Q: How long will it take for my container to be delivered to my new location?
A: Transportation times vary depending on where you are moving from and to. Please contact a Door To Door Specialist for the exact transit time for your move. Additionally, Door To Door tracks your shipment and can keep you updated on its status.
Q: I don't know yet where I'm moving to. Can Door To Door help me before I know my destination?

A: We specialize in surprise-free moves! Try to make as much of an advance appointment as possible to have your storage containers delivered to your new residence on your desired date. Q: Do you pick-up and deliver on weekends?
A: Door To Door makes container deliveries and pick ups on Saturdays, but not on Sundays.

Q: How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?
A: The sooner the better! To ensure storage container availability for your move, we recommend that you reserve them at least 2 to 3 weeks before you want us to drop off the empty containers at the address you are moving from. But we understand that sometimes last-minute moves are unavoidable, so we'll do everything possible to accommodate your schedule.

A: We're ready when you are. We can ship your storage containers to our storage center near your new destination at any time and store them until you'd like them delivered. A: Currently we service Alaska, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands but not international locations.
Q: Do you sell packing supplies?
A: You can purchase a wide variety of moving boxes, padding material, blankets, tape, markers and other supplies from the Boxes and More page. Many of our local storage centers also sell various packing supplies.
Q: Do you have insurance and what does it cover?
A: We offer both basic valuation insurance, which is always included in your quotation and replacement value coverage that can be purchased for both your moving and storage needs.
Q: Do you rent trucks?
A: No. One reason for Door To Door's success is that we do the driving for you! Our at-home drop-off service lets you avoid the hassle of picking up the truck, loading it, driving it, unloading and rushing to return it on time.
